Tender's Details
The pavement surface of the vehicular lane in the operational area in front of the Terminal Building has deteriorated significantly creating FOD which is hazard for parking aircrafts on the Apron. The FOD may damage the vehicles and may cause injuries to the passengers. The portion of GHA area is semi pukka made with brick bats which needs pavements for parking of Airlines buses where presently they are parking their vehicles with difficulty due to settlement of the semi pukka ground.In order to address the problem, it is proposed to provide top course with a bitumen mastic wearing course, which will protect the wearing course of the existing pavement.The ground handling area shall be developed with paver block of required strength so that it can take the load of heavy vehicles.
