Kalka - Shimla (NG) - CTR (S) - 22.792 Km (From km.6.325 to 10.5, 10.62 to14.65, 16.903 to 18, 21.21 to 25.25, 49.5 to 54.69, 55.24 to 59.5) of the existing 60R rails FP laid on ST sleepers 1310 Nos/Km density with 75R (SH) rails FP on ST (Converted) sleepers 1340 nos/km with conventional fastening including increasing the ballast cushion to 20 cms with Deep screening & recoupment of ballast from the existing standard of 10 cms.
I/R for Through rail renewal (TRR) of NG track along with check rails including curves on ST sleepers along with check rail in curves by 60R/75R/90R rails/3 rail panels/20 rail panels etc. in running track/yard lines under traffic block by contractors labour, materials, T&P's as per IRPWM including dismantling of old rails, and check rails, stacking of released rails of length up to a distance of 100 mtrs as per direction of Engg-in- charge, pairing of rails, recoupment of missing fittings, adjusting of sleepers at new joints at the specified spacings, aligning, surfacing & correcting cross level, gauging through packing from one end to other, repacking of joint sleepers, removing of kinks of rails, boxing & dressing of ballast .
