Inspection & maintenance of track on daily basis which includes one unskilled man will cover one km of track (new line including new lines in yards) for inspection, checking of missing fittings, loose packing, bridge approaches, on bridges etc., and will attend the track deficiencies everyday and also attend any other un- usuals as per the instructions of SSE/P.Way. He will keep the section neat & tidy by cleaning the cess, jungle, ballast profiling etc., as per instructions of SSE(P.Way)and will maintain the track as per Indian Railway Permanent Way Manual. (Unit for quantity measurement/payment is per Track Km/Per day).
