BOQ Item Description: After fabrication each piping assembly shall be thoroughly Helium leak tested to a leak tightness of about 10 power -9 mbar Liters per s of Helium when tested with a Mass spectrometer helium leak detector MSLD. All welding and threaded joints. IIT Bombay will provide MSLD. The vendor should arrange the necessary manpower to carry out the leak test.
