Operation of SMTC Assembly Line As per Scope of Work given below 2.0SCOPE OF WORK: 2.1 The Tender is for: Outsourcing the operation of SMTC assembly line and allied activities of assembly shop. i. The firm will supply adequate manpower per shift to man the following areas. Area Manpower/Shift Manpower/day Total Manpower East Borer of SMTC 1 3 27 West Borer of SMTC 1 3 1 3 Console Operation (SMTC) 1 3 Recording (SMTC) 1 3 Recording (HYT) 1 3 Wheelset Pushing 2 6 Wheel Loading 2 6 ii. The manpower deployed for operation of Borers and SMTC presses must have adequate experience of running similar CNC machines. iii. Contractor must assemble minimum average of 50 good wheel sets per shift. The wheel-sets finally passed by Inspection shall be considered as good wheel-sets for the above consideration. The average for the above calculation will be taken over 18 consecutive shifts of operation. iv. RWF shall supply adequate number of wheels and axles per shift. v. RWF shall make available inserts, other consumables required for the assembly line, EOT crane, lifting tackles, compressed air, electricity, water, fork lift truck, transfer cart, Computer for looking up axle/wheel details and entering wheelset details etc. to the contractor free of cost. vi. If required, the assembly line shall be operated on Sundays/Holidays subject to labour laws being adhered to. Rates are inclusive of GST
