Supply fixing replacement & connection of 1-Phase, 2-wire, 240V, Class 1.0 Smart Energy Meter, BIS marked IS-16444, at the rating of 10-60 Amps or above, suitable for Prepaid/Postpaid mode. a. The Smart Meter shall support the following minimum basic features: Measurement of electrical energy parameters; Bidirectional Communication; Integrated Load limiting /connect/disconnect switch; Tamper event detection; recording and reporting; Power event alarms; Remote firmware upgrade; TOD features; On demand reading. b. Meter shall have the ability to communicate with Head End System (HES) on RF Mesh Communication technology that complies with IS-16444 Part-1 in a secure manner. c. Data exchange protocol from smart meter to HES shall be based on open protocol like TCP/lP or DLMS/COSEM. d. RF Mesh network should use 865-867 MHz frequency band as permitted by WPC. Other RF Technologies like LoRAWAN, Zigbee, Bluetooth not desired. Equipment Type Approval (ETA) certificate mentioning Frequency range(s) of Equipment at 865-867 MHz to be produced. e. Replacement warranty period shall be 66 (sixty six) months from the date of supply or 60 (sixty) months from the date of commissioning, whichever is earlier. f. Meter inspection by RITES is mandatory. All the fees, chargesor any other payment pertaining to RITES inspection will be borne by the contractor.
