Sealed maintenance free valve regulated Lead acid (SMF VRLA) battery 12 V, 12 Ah suitable for Emergency light unit. The battery shall not be more than 6 months old from the date of its manufacture, at the time of supply. The battery shall be from any of the makes viz., Exide (Model No.EP.12V.12Ah), TAFE (Model No. BP 12-12) and Amara Raja (Model No. 12 AL012) or similar. As per ICF Specn. No.ICF/ELEC/917 REV. No. 01 Clause 8.14 (F-803) it is stated that performance and capacity of battery will be decided by ICF in consultation with suppliers. For proven design battery, The capacity test on battery shall be conducted during type test. Other firms apart from M/s Exide, M/s Amar Raja, M/s Tafe should submit necessary prototype testing report, otherwise offer shall not be considered.
