Supply and Application of wheel and axle paint to drg No.AAA02142 (Latest revision/alteration) and as per Annexure - CA (a) Primer: "High Build Epoxy Paint (Two Pack)" conforming to RDSO Specification No.M &C/PCN/111/2018 (b) Fluoropolymer as per Japanese lndustrial standard JIS K 5659:2008 (Long durable paints f or steel structures)-Class- I as an Intermediale Coat (c) Fluoropolymer as per Japanese Industrial standard JIS K 5659:2008 (Long durable paints for steel structures)-Class-1 as a Top Coat. (d) Colour Shade shall be RAL 70 12 (As followed in VB bogie frame). Alternatively following Paint scheme may be followed: a) Degreasing. b) Prim er- Arkote 31 Primer - two components Epoxy Primer, airless spraying, drying time 18 hours at room temperatur e, DFT 60 to 90%B5m. c) Top coat - Arkote 31 topcoat - two pack topcoat based on epoxy / polyamide resin, airl ess spraying, drying at room temperature, DFT 60 to 110%B5m. d) Colour Shade shall be RAL 7012 (As followe d in VB bogie frame) shelf life of the paint is 12 months from the date of supply. [ Warranty Period: 36 Months af ter the date of delivery ]
