SITC of Imported Oxygen Medical Gas Terminal Units (Gas Outlet Points BS Type) :- HTM 02- 01/NFPA 99 C/EN/DIN/ISO 7396-1 Equivalent Indian Standards requirements and should be US FDA/ European CE Certified with 4 digit notified body number or American ETL/ American UL listed or Equivalent Indian Standards. As per Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC med gas products are classified as Class IIb Medical Devices. Terminal units shall have gas indexing geometry. Other gas specific indexing geometries are not acceptable. Terminal unit front fascia should be hundred percent metal. Gas specific components comprising the terminal unit second fix shall be manufactured from die-cast zinc alloy or similar hard-wearing metal. Plastic components are not acceptable.
